At 2:15pm a fire started in the boys toilets, and the whole school was evacuated. We did it very sensibly.
There will be no school on Tuesday 4th March 2008.

i couldn’t believe it when i saw what was happening to the boy’s toilets! I was shouting to my friends to look at the toilets when suddenly the fire bell rang out a loud noise and everyone started tumbling out of the school into the playground. Me and my friends were sing a song called ‘parklands burning’.It was funny. suddenly three fire brigades came rushing into the school with the hose and their masks and costumes.
it was the 1st fire in ages!!!!!!!

i was there next to boys toilets when the smoke erupted out of the the toilets, it had an unbelievable sight to it but it was also a traumatic event.

I was a bit worried when i saw black smoke coming out of the boy’s toilets. It was coming out of the roof when the fire alarm went off. We ran to our lines, while we were standing there the roof of the boys toilets started to go black from the smoke. When the fire brigade arrived we all started to cheer and they quickly put the fire out.
